The time is getting closer to the Alberta Paramedic Association (Association) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 6, 2024.
Last week we reminded you of our upcoming AGM and the introduction to our new website along with a few of our speakers including the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Acute Care Division of Alberta Health and the Executive Director of Mental Health and Addiction.
We can add to that list, a Financial Consultant from World Financial Group who will present (among other items) on the benefits of setting up an education fund for your children’s future. Additionally, the Executive Director from the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick will be speaking on how that province is moving forward including a shift towards the new National Competency Framework for Paramedics (NCFP) from the previous NOCP.
We are also going to release our new reveal surrounding what the board believes is the best liability insurance in the business and what that means to you. Included in this, you will hear from board members on the many projects that they have worked on and what has been accomplished to bring 2024 into perspective.
Your attendance at the AGM will also give you 6 credits towards your continuing competence for 2025.
And while there is a charge of $5 to solidify your in-person attendance, you will receive that $5 back when you register at 08:30 on the upper floor of 646 Parsons Road. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
