Your Voice Matters!

The Alberta Paramedic Association AGM occurs on December 6, 2024.

If you’ve been wondering if you should attend, here is the reason you should.

When you look at our new website, you will see the starting line up of the event speakers for the day. Some of those speakers you may relate to, others you may not. But here is the point. As diverse members of the Association, we all have different issues/ideas that matter to us. When you attend the AGM, you will have an opportunity to take a front row seat and not only hear what is happening in our paramedic world, but you also have an opportunity to present in your own voice, the items you feel need to be heard.

Your board members have done a number of projects this past year which will be unveiled at this year’s AGM which may include statements that contain words like negotiations, representation, national, awards, mental health, and charity.  But the most important part of this AGM is the opportunity to meet others like you, share ideas, maybe create new friends and most of all let your voice be heard as it pertains to what is important to you.

This opportunity to share your voice is not available for everyone. Those who are not members of the Association do have this chance and there are a large number of paramedics in Alberta who don’t have any opportunities like this. As a bonus, there will be a light breakfast, snacks, lunch, and 6 continuing education credits. But to be part of it, you have to attend. An on-line option exists and we understand the need, but it’s the in-person option that makes it much more real. Sit in the front row, or sit in the back row. We want you there and we want your voice to be heard!

Check out more information on the AGM at our website under News & Events and/or skip the link and get your tickets for the AGM. It will cost $5 but you’ll get it back. (See News & Events post November 6, 2024).

We look forward to seeing you on December 6, 2024 at the AGM!
