City of Leduc

The City of Leduc has an integrated fire service that provides ambulance service, patient transport and traditional fire services. Our department has a long history in fire fighting and community involvement.

Currently, Leduc Fire Services is made up of full and part-time members. Our fire department provides service to a population base of over 23,000 and to rural areas west, south and east of Leduc (approximately 128 sq. miles). Services provided to the community and region include:

Fire suppression and rescue
Extrication from motor vehicle collisions
Emergency Medical Services (Advanced Life Support)
Dangerous Goods Response (first responder level)
Water Rescue (surface)
Ice Rescue
Fire Prevention and Education
EMS Public Education
Fire Investigations
