PIONEER has both ERU and MTC units. These units along with our trained medical staff provide pre-hospital life support and ground transportation for patients as needed in the event of an emergency. Our equipment list is second only to the public ambulance and our staff is trained in medical as well as on site safety services. Our goal is to add value to your project in emergency as well as day to day safety services.

MEDICAL STAFFING LEVELS

PIONEER’s medical professionals work under a comprehensive set of medical protocols and the supervision of our Medical Director. We have knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and B.C. jurisdictions. We typically employ the following three levels:

Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics
All registered in the province of Alberta with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
All paramedics are also certified for their advanced skills which include suturing, use of pacemakers and chest tube monitoring. General Skills includes Medication Administration, Advanced Cardiac Care including Defibrillation and Advanced Airway Management.

Emergency Medical Technicians-Ambulance (EMT-A)
All registered in the province of Alberta with the Alberta College of Paramedics. All EMT-A’s are also certified for their Advanced Skills which include: I.V. therapy, Entonox administration and AED.

Emergency Medical Responder
All registered in the province of Alberta with Alberta College of Paramedics. Equivalent to advanced first aiders unrestricted level 3 for B.C.
