EMS Cadets – Grande Prairie

The EMS Cadets are a group of youth aged 15 to 18 who have an interest in Emergency Medical Services. Working alongside industry professionals these youth develop an understanding of what it takes to be a member of Emergency Medical Services.

Youth receive free training from industry professionals working in the field.

Members are initially trained to a Standard First Aid level, and through weekly meetings and additional training they can achieve their advanced rating aligning them with the Alberta Health Services provincial Medical First Responder (MFR).
