History:
Bruce Penner founder of 101179648 Saskatchewan Ltd. o/a Merrington Safety worked for Pincemin Fire Safety for 8 years. For the first 3 years he was employed as a Safety Supervisor working on the fire trucks, air trailers and was dispatched to emergencies in the field. In 2007 he took the position of District Manager / HSE Coordinator. His responsibilities consisted of and not limited to dispatching, training, hiring employees, orientating staff, and managing day to day responsibilities.
Mandy Clapper was hired in 2006 as an administrator. She then began to take over rewriting Pincemin Fire-Safety’s Safety Program and took several courses to upgrade her training to qualify for the Safety Coordinator position. She had been with the company for 6 years before transferring over to Merrington Safety and brings years of experience with her. She has been in charge of all the Certificate of Recognition audits and has passed each year with remarkable scoring. She is also in charge of keeping the ISNet World and Complyworks safety registries up to date.
101179648 Saskatchewan Ltd. o/a Merrington Safety took over Pincemin Fire- Safety February 16th, 2012. We work throughout Saskatchewan providing safety services to numerous oil and gas companies. Merrington Safety is constantly working towards improving and changing our techniques to improve our services in the industry. We provide steady work to our employees.
We currently employ nine individuals with skills ranging from NFPA Fire Fighters to EMR’s and Breathing Air Attendants. Most of our staff are crossed trained and are able to work in the diversified company.
We are registered to operate in Alberta and have provided services over the border for numerous companies. We are currently located in Kindersley Saskatchewan; central to provide better services to our clients.
