TnT Diagnostics

TnT Diagnostics was established in 2006 to fulfill a need to provide contracted medical services and medical equipment to remote Northern communities.

In 2005, the paramedics of TnT Diagnostics were invited to provide casual medical coverage for nursing staff at the health centre in the Northern Village of Cumberland House. Our paramedics worked as team members with a registered nurse partner utilising the Facility Based Scope of Practice approved by Saskatchewan Health and the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics. Medical consultation was established with the physician on call in Nipawin with patients transported out via ground or air.

In 2012 an arrangement was made with the Yellow Quill First Nation to provide Post-operative wound care to clients of the community. To ensure patient safety, our paramedics were trained in advanced wound care management.

ost recently TnT Diagnostics has entered into an agreement with the Athabasca Health Authority for the provision of PCP and ACP staff to the area. The practitioners will be responding to scene calls in a ground EMS unit and conducting aeromedical transportation throughout the North.
