Description
Carbon Medical out of Leduc, AB is looking for Alberta registered Emergency Medical Responders (EMR's) to join our company.
Carbon Medical is an Industrial Medical Company that has it's employees out in the field. It could be pipeline, drilling rig, construction, etc.
Rotations are normally two weeks out in the field away from home and two weeks off. While onsite, shifts are 12 hours long. Pay works out to $25.00/hr for the first 8 hours and $37.50/hr for the additional 4 hours to make the pay $350.00/day.
Carbon supplies the lodging which could be in a camp, in a hotel, or living on location. If you are in a hotel or living on location where they do not supply meals, a meal sub would be added.
The EMR would supply medical coverage for the site and for the people out there. We supply all of the medical gear required.
Carbon's General Manager is a registered and in good standing ACP/FF and registered in Alberta and Saskatchewan. We also have a Medical Director.
It would be up to the employee to get to Leduc to pick up our vehicle and drive our vehicle to site. Carbon pays the fuel expenses on our vehicles that are driven to site and back to the shop.
Driving to site from our shop in Leduc you are paid travel pay.
You must supply your own steel toe boots. Also, another course that is not stated is that you would require to have CSO (Common Safety Orientation). If you are on a pipeline, you would require PCST.
