Presenter

Dr. Elizabeth Kurien did her medical degree at McGill University and her radiation oncology residency in Ottawa. After a 1 year fellowship at the Cross Cancer Institute, she has worked for more than 20 years at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre as a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of patients with lung cancer and sarcoma.  She is a Clinical Associate Professor (Oncology) at the University of Calgary.
Over the years, Dr. Kurien has contributed primarily as a medical educator for residents, specialty examiner for the Royal College, and as the previous Interim Section Chief and then Deputy Section Chief for TBCC Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Kurien is
  currently the Medical Lead for the Provincial Tumour Teams, Cancer Care Alberta.
