Scholarships
The Alberta Paramedic Association (APA) and other institutions recognize the hard work that paramedics are providing for Albertans. To support paramedics and aid the recruitment and retention of practitioners, the APA wishes to feature the following funding organizations who do or previously supported and offered educational scholarships to individuals who wish to pursue paramedicine as their professional career.
Awards
The Alberta Paramedic Association (APA) awards and recognition program aims to recognize exceptional paramedic and paramedic supporter contributions to advancing paramedicine and/or the Association.
The awards conferred by the APA include both paramedic Awards of Excellence and special governmental awards of honours. When applicable the governmental awards granted via the Alberta Paramedic Association include both “The King Charles III Coronation Medal” as well as the “Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal”.
